What is the best laptop I can buy for £300?
I currently have a brand new:
Acer Aspire 5315-201G08Mi.
Intel Celeron 550 (2.0ghz,533mhz fsb, 1mb L2 cache).
256mb mobile intel graphics media accelerator. x3100.
1GB DDR2 RAM,
15.4 WXGA Acer crystalbrite LCD (8ms/220-nit),
80GB HD, DVD Super Multi DL,
WLAN WIFI.
Someone has offered me £300 for it and I want a decent replacement. An intel core 2 duo laptop with a glossy screen like the current acer I am selling.
Checked pc world and I saw an acer 5735 which had a 160gb harddrive, 3gb ram and was an intel core 2 duo 2ghz..but this laptop seem to be out of stock and was going for £300.
I see quite a few advents but I don't know how reliable they are. I don't really care about laptop life. My acer can only run for about 2hours before the battery wants juice. Not too bothered about that though. Just want a laptop that is fast, a laptop that I won't need to replace anytime soon.
