hey all
This christmas i plan on getting my own built gaming computer
The specs are
CORE-Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400 / 2.66GHz / 6MB Cache / 1333FSB
MOBO- Gigabyte GA-EP43-UD3L Intel Mainboard - 4x DDR2 / 6x Sata / 1x IDE / Gigabit Lan
RAM-4GB of Corsair DDR2 PC-8500/1066
HDD-Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200RPM 32MB SATA 3Gbs
GRAPHICS CARD- GIGABYTE RADEON HD 4890 OC @ 900mhz (1GB GDDR5, PCIE 2.0,) or i may buy one of the new ATI RADEON HD 5000 ( preferably 5870 or 5890) series if they are resonalble priced, and have been realesed.
CASE- Antec Nine Hundred Two - Black Ultimate ATX Gaming Case
and a good PSU havent decided yet
soo how will u think this computer will be able to go for crysis at 1920x1080? on what detail
and what can i improve on, and tell me what you think

Ive got the exact same specs as u except my processor is different from urs. You should be able to run Crysis at gamer settings at the resolution i think that if u want better performance you should either OC ur Q9400 when you get it to atleast 3.00Ghz as you will get much better performance or get a better quad core processor as if you dont your processor will bottleneck your video card. I think your specs should be amazing for new games coming out such as CODMW2 and you should reach max settings in every game except in Crysis 2 when it comes out. But if you get a 5870 you should be able to reach enthusiast settings on crysis and really good settings on games such as Crysis 2 as well
