Touchpad Fingerprint
advice on choosing a laptop please?
I'm looking for a student laptop, so good shock protection and battery life is a must and light and small is nice, mabye 13-14 screen size as I still want a full size keyboard. good built in wifi reception w/o moble brodband. the rest of the configurations ought to be high and reliably sturdy as I'm hoping this will last at least 5 years. somewhere around 100 GB memory. Core 2 Duo processor that is plenty fast, around 2 GHz and plenty of RAM, 2GB?. and a high end dedicated graphics card. accesories like fingerprint reader and the little scroll bars on the touchpad would be nice, though I prefer the little button to move the mouse, any brands besides thinkpad have that? as you can see I know what the thing needs to have. I just need help seeing an aspect I may have overlooked and recomendations as to reliable brands and models. price range is preferably less than 2000. thanks for the help! hope this isn't unreasonable.
I would highly recommend a Toshiba Satellite M65-S9092 for school. I have one, and I love it. You can't expect any other computer company to give you the same quality as Toshiba has. Currently, you can get a Toshiba Satellite M65-S9092 for $1,125 from Pricemad.
