Reprogram my computer, any real good books?
I currently use Win. XP Home Edition, using a Intel Pentium 3 processor with 451 MHz and 128MB of RAM. Dont know what any of that means, also its a Hewlett Packard computer, Vectra. I would really like to learn the following...
How to completley re-program my computer.
How to go through all the files, pics, movies, music, etc. and delete what I want even when it says that I cant, and delete them permanently.
Dont want to use a restore, or reinstall the version of windows, I have found stuff by accident that was supposed to have been erased when I installed the newer version of XP. Atleast its new to me. And I have also re-installed it about 3 times, and it actually seemed to have kept stuff from each time in my computer, which took up alot of memory.
Does anyone know of a good website that will teach me this, I would really like to know of a great book to read for it. I also have a spare computer I can practice on first, before I demolish the home computer by accident.
Thats a pretty ancient computer. There are numerous programming guides out there but you really should familiarize yoruself with the basics, try searching ebay for QBASIC for dummies and once you have a strong understanding of how trhat works try looking for Visual Basic for Dummies or C++ for Dummies
