How does Wifi Mini sd card work?

Im buying the mini sd wifi card for my htc touch i was wondering how does it work? when i insert it what do i have to do? Will it work with my htc touch? will i be able to watch youtube?

Mini SD wi-fi cards work similar to wi-fi network cards for laptops. For all practical purposes, they are wireless network cards but for mobile phones. The HTC Touch isn't compatible with Mini SD cards. It uses Micro SD cards. The SDIO wi-fi cards you're talking about are compatible with devices like the Motorola Q and the Palm Treo 700w, among others. For Youtube videos, I recommend installing a program called VTap. It's like Google specifically for online videos. I used it and loved it. I don't have it on my T-Mobile Wing now because I lost it when I did a hard reset the other day but I'm about to reinstall it. Look into that program. As for wi-fi for your Touch, I'm sorry to tell you this but you're out of luck. Sucks that HTC didn't built a wi-fi reciever into the Touch since they build them into almost all their other phones like the Wing, Tilt and MDA, to name a few. Hope I've helped.
